Hi. I’m Jay (short for Jagjeet) Singh-Sohal, the Conservative candidate for Police and Crime Commissioner in the West Midlands.
I was raised in Handsworth and now live in Royal Sutton Coldfield. I’m running to be the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner because I don't believe we should accept the rising crime we are seeing. I've been moved to step forward and will work to Get Crime Down.
I have the skills and experiences to make positive change in this role, creating and delivering impact that will ensure our region attracts the resources needed to tackle crime, recruit more police officers and keep local policing within the neighbourhoods.
I’m not a career politician but a television journalist by trade - turned strategic communications director. I've worked within the community and with charities. And I've also served my country, as a British Army Reserve Officer for the past decade.
Please join me by liking my page, getting in contact, joining the campaign. Let’s work together to address the crime issues that affect us and our loved ones.
